Gregg Alan Dickerson, MD, FACR, FACRO, is a well-versed radiation oncologist who diagnoses and treats patients at Alliance Cancer Center in Greenville and Clarksdale, Mississippi, which he joined in 2016. As a radiation oncologist, he has dedicated training and unique experience in the use of ionizing radiation in the treatment of cancer. Dr. Dickerson has an impressive professional journey that spans thirty years and has expanse knowledge and unrivaled expertise in radiosurgery and prostate radiosurgery. Prior to his current endeavors, he served as Flight Surgeon in the Medical Corps of the Air National Guard and retired as Major in 1996 after 11 years of service. Dr. Dickerson has also acted as Director of Radiosurgery and Medical Director at Denver CyberKnife (2009-2012), CyberKnife Specialist at Accuracy (2004-2014), and Medical Director and Chief of Radiosurgery at Anova Cancer Care (2009-2016). Dr. Dickerson has been awarded over ten specialty honors and peer selected honors and holds both military and civilian honors. He feels that his success is attributable primarily to caring for his patients, accepting change gracefully, and embracing new technology and dedicates his spare time to flying, mountain and road biking, hiking, fly fishing, playing the banjo, and community theater.
